Question

I received an email to verify the small deposits into my bank account to set it up for payroll. I checked my account and no deposits have been made.

Once you've set up your bank account for QuickBooks Online(QBO) Payroll, a test transaction of less than $1.00 should appear in your bank account within 2-3 banking days. If you haven't received it within this time frame, I suggest contacting our Payroll Support team for additional assistance.

 

When your test amounts are ready, enter them into your account to continue the verification. I'll guide you through the process.

 

  1. Log in to your QBO Payroll as admin.
  2. Go to Payroll and click Overview.
  3. Navigate to your To Do List.
  4. Choose Let's Go on Check your bank account item.
  5. Hit Verify Amount and enter the transaction amount without the decimal point.
  6. Select Verify.
