Question

I recently started using Mint for my personal budget. Now each time I sign onto Quickbooks or Mint, I have to resync my accounts. Any fixes or advice for this issue?

Having both Mint for personal and Quickbooks for business seems to disrupt the automatic bank and credit card sync essential for both.

Hi there, @jkheigis.

Sometimes too much cache accumulated in a browser can cause unexpected behavior with the product. This can be the reason why it disrupts the automatic bank and credit card sync in both applications

Let’s perform some basic troubleshooting steps to address the issue. Start logging into QuickBooks using a private window. Here’s how:

  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Internet Explorer)
  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

Once done, try opening both programs again. If it works, you need to clear your browser’s cache. Here’s an article to help you with the process: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If you're still getting the same results, try using another supported browser instead. This might be a temporary issue with your current browser and QuickBooks or Mint.

I also added this article for additional help when categorizing downloaded banking transactions: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I'd suggest visiting this website: QuickBooks Community. You'll get answers to your product questions and find tips from experts and other QuickBooks users.

Let me know how it goes as I wanted to ensure this is resolved for you. Take care and have a good one.
