Hello, Rick.

Before calling an agent, I'd like to offer help so you can use your new personal account for the Online Banking feature.

You can update the bank connection by disconnecting it and reconnecting with the new link for the personal account. This will let you download and get the latest transactions under the new account.

Before doing this, you'll want to categorize your old pending transactions first

Here's how to disconnect the old business account:

  1. Go to your Chart of Accounts page.
  2. Find the bank account where the original bank account was connected to.
  3. Under ACTION, click the arrow icon then select Edit
  4. Check the Disconnect this account on save box.
  5. Click Save and close.

After disconnecting, go to the Banking page and connect your bank with the personal account website link (or listing).

If your bank's personal account connection isn't available, you'll want to manually upload your transactions into QuickBooks

After connecting with the new personal account, you can start categorizing your recent transactions. Afterwards, you have the option to do your routinely reconciliation processes.

Check this article for a guide on the workflow: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

I'm ready to help out again if you have questions managing your transactions. Do you have any other concerns for QuickBooks Online? I'll hear you out and assist you.
