Question

I used to have a quickbooks account. I exported my saved history and it only downloaded a total amount of all of my saved receipts/miles/etc. Looking to get records back

Hello, julie-dibucci-gm.

I'd like to share some insights so that you can get your reports from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

If you've subscribed using the trial version, you can access read-only reports within 90 days after canceling your subscription. However, if you've subscribed using your card, you can access it within a year from the date of cancellation.

To know more details about what will happen after canceling your subscription, you can check out this article: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel? This will still have the same effect on QBSE subscribers.

However, if your canceled subscription is beyond the days stated above, you'll need to resubscribe from your account to get the data you needed. Here's how to export them:

Export reports:

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Select the report you want to download.
  3. Tap the drop-down beside the View link.
  4. Choose Download.
  5. Download a report for each tax year you have in QuickBooks.

Export Miles:

  1. Press the Miles menu.
  2. You can select the miles you need to export by using the TypeTax Year, and Vehicle filters.
  3. Once you've selected what you need, click on the Download icon located to the right of the filters.

Once you've moved all your data, ensure to cancel the account you'll no longer be using. So, you'd not be charged for it. Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription

I'll be here if you have other concerns or questions. Let me know in the comment section and I'll get back to you. Take care.
