I want to edit the name of a payment on a bank deposit. Does one deposit contain many payments. If so, editing one pymt in a deposit means erasing all other pymts?

I'll share information on what will happen if you change the name of a payment on a bank deposit.

Changing the customer's name on the payment on a bank deposit doesn't affect or erase the other payments. However, it'll change how credits and payments are applied.

If you wish to edit the name, you can follow the steps below:

1. Click the + New button, then select Bank Deposit.
2. Select the appropriate bank account from the Account drop-down.
3. Click the hyperlink name of the payment you want to edit.
4. In the Receive Payment window, change the customer name.
5. Select Yes to confirm the changes.

Once done, you can proceed on depositing the payments into your bank account.

You may also want to view all your sales transactions in the future. You can go to the Sales menu and select All sales.
