I was posting in Bank Register and it changed the display from payments and deposits next to each other and a balance

Let's go over to your bank register and have the posting corrected, bar10wyo.

To get this sorted out, as an initial step, let's delete and recreate the transactions to make sure it's corrupted.

Here's how to delete a transaction:

1. From the Bank Register screen, click the transaction.
2. Click the Delete button.
   
3. Hit Yes.
   

Once deleted, you can follow the steps below to re-enter the transaction:

1. From the Bank Register screen, click the drop-down arrow beside Add check and select what type of transaction you want to add.
2. Enter the necessary information.
3. Hit Save.
