If i cancel my QBO act, can I still access the data for some period? Ops stopped 2020, need to cut expense. Advice on what info to download for future simple tax returns?

I will need to close the business financially this year, so I need to download any info I'd need for that and really want to stop spending the $$ on a ***** business. Thanks so much in advance for your expert advice!

Hello aoehlerking1!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you can still access your data. Let me explain and assist you.

Once cancelled, you have one year to access, download, and export the data before it gets deleted permanently. With regard to tax returns, you'll want to make sure to have a copy of all your sales transactions. You can also export reports such as the sales tax liability report for your reference in filing your taxes.

Please check these links on how to export the data from QuickBooks Online:

Is this still the case?  I need to cancel my subscription since I don't use it but I need to finalize last years taxes.

Additional options:

1. Export your data to QBD Desktop file format. You will use the trial license of QB Desktop to open it later.

2. Utilize an exporter tool to get the raw data
