If I don't have a bank account linked to QBO will the bank and credit card screen not show?

Hello @ttloper,

I'm glad to see you posting here in the Community space. I can provide clarification about how QuickBooks banking works.

You'll only have access to the bank and credit card screen if you link your bank accounts. If you don't have one connected, it'll only show the introduction screen for bank feeds (see screenshot below).

The Banking screen helps users categorize transactions that download automatically from your bank. If you manually track them, you can access your banks and credit cards through the Chart of accounts.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select the Chart of accounts option under Your Company.
  3. View your accounts.

I've included an article you can visit for more details about the different account types and how to customize the Chart of accounts: Learn about the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.
