Question

If I enter transactions via my phone why are they are not syncing with the application on my computer. How can I get them to sync?

Some transactions sync others do not so I have to keep going back to double check if they have been entered or not.  Taking way too much time.

All new information entered in the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app is automatically synced to the web version, kmadsen4. Let's sort this out so you don't have to double-check every time a new transaction is recorded.

 

Please note that there are a few factors that can affect or delay the transactions from showing up on your computer after recording them in the mobile app. I'll share the steps to help address any sync issues.

 

First, ensure you are using the same login credentials in both the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app and the web version. 

 

Second, refresh the data by logging in and out of your QuickBooks Online account. This will help ensure all new information is properly synced to your computer.

 

Lastly, too much cache or saved data can cause syncing issues. In this case, follow these steps on how to resolve common browser issues when working in QuickBooks:

 

  1. Use a private/incognito browsing session or restart your browser.
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Add Intuit as a trusted site.
