Question

If I'm missing a chunk of bank imports from Jan 2022 thru May 2022. How can I get these imported? Everything else is there and I've checked sync. Ideas?

I have all of my bank transactions from 2021, and then June 2022- Current. Somehow I'm missing a chunk from Jan 2022 - May and the bank connection is correct and syncing. How can I get these in here without manually entering them?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools with a one time license (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround.

I got you covered with importing your bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), slayer.

Since bank transactions over 90 days won’t automatically sync to your bank feeds, we can get those transactions into your bank feeds by manually uploading them using a CSV file.

Here’s how:

  1. From the left menu, click the Banking menu and then choose Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, tap the dropdown arrow beside the Link account button.
  3. From there, select Upload from file.
  4. Click the select files option to upload your file.
  5. Finish this by following the on-screen instructions.

Furthermore, I have a bundle of articles you can refer to when categorizing your transactions and reconciling your account. Doing so will put your transactions in the correct category and avoid any discrepancies in your books:

Has the online version updated? There is no Banking tab in the left column.

Hello there, Annette1232.

Yes, QuickBooks Online has made certain changes to the software's workflow. Let me provide further insights about this to ensure you can manage your financial data in the program.

Please note that the Banking tab in the left corner represents the old QBO platform's interface. The new option in the system is the Transactions menu. However, both tabs provide the same content and functionality.

You can refer to this article to view the detailed steps using the updated format on how you can manually upload your bank/credit card entries into QuickBooks: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

In case you need guidelines on how to review downloaded entries by adding or matching them to avoid duplicate data, you can read this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have additional questions about the layout of the program or any banking concerns in QBO. I'll get back to you surely, Annette1232. Take care.
