Welcome to the Community, @busemachine. I'll provide details on how to address discrepancies when reconciling an account inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If your bank account reconciliation is off by a few cents, there are several factors why this occurs. It may be due to an incorrect balance entered, missing or duplicate transactions, or there are transactions that haven't been cleared from your bank yet. To fix that, I recommend checking out this article: Fix issues at the end of a reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.

After performing the steps in the article and you still see the small amount, we can use the Add adjusting entry. This forces the account to balance by creating an expense (if the difference is negative) or an income (if the difference is positive) transaction. Here's how:

  1. From the Transactions menu, select Reconcile
  2. Select the account you want reconcile.
  3. Start reconciling after you've reviewed everything for errors.
  4. Select Finish now from the drop-down beside Save for later.
  5. Select Add adjustment and finish.
  6. Click on Done.

Moreover, you can check out this article to guide you on how to manage your reconciliation report in QBO: How do I view, print, or export a reconciliation report.
