Your security is our top priority, @debbie_lack. Let me share some insight on how to verify an email notification if it's from QuickBooks.

Since you're setting up your bank account for payments, it's possible that you'll receive an email notification from QuickBooks. However, please make sure to determine if the email you're receiving is from us. Here's an article for your reference to help you find out if it's legit: Official email communication from Intuit Payments. This also contains the list of email addresses that we use to communicate with our customers.

If you receive an Intuit email you aren't sure about, see our security notices for details of suspicious emails reported by other customers.

Additionally, I encourage you to report the fraudulent activity to our Intuit Security team. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

Furthermore, I recommend browsing this article for you to easily recognize official Intuit correspondence and websites: Identify Suspicious Activity, Phishing Scams, and Potential Fraud.

Please know that I'm just a reply away if you have any other questions about this concern or with QuickBooks. I'm always here to back you up. Stay safe.
