If we want to transfer money between two our our bank accounts in QBO, but show the total broken down into multiple categories, how do we do that? Recurring?

We regularly reimburse expenses from one bank account with funding from another. We want to show the breakdown of this transfer by categories and QBO doesn't seem to offer a way to do this.

Great job in reimbursing your expense regularly in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, @usercmellor.

 

The option to break down multiple categories when making a bank transfer isn't possible in QuickBooks. I'll take note of this and pass it along to our Product Developer team so they'll consider adding this in the future. In the meantime, you'll want to look for a third-party app that has this feature. You can go to the Apps menu in your account or visit our QuickBooks App Store for reference.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.
