Question

iMac 2019 QB Desktop. "Nothing imported. This acc't is up-to-date"

1) For the last two months, this message shows after importing Chase credit card .qbo

2) Path to QB back up: /Users/robglass/iCloud Drive (Archive)/Documents/Documents - Rob Glass’s iMac/iCloud Drive (Archive) - 2/Documents/Financial. Probably needs refinement

3) Chase credit card not on the drop-down list of accounts on Downloaded Transactions.

What modifications necessary to restore Chase .qbo ?

Thanks !

Hello edgar9!

Thanks for posting here. Allow me to assist you in importing the Chase credit card transactions.

Before you import the .QBO file, let's make sure that you're using the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. There are two ways on how to update it which you can find through this link: Update QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release.

Also, this could also be a result of a damaged company file. QuickBooks Desktop for Mac has a tool for that. Before you follow the steps below, make sure to backup your company file.

  1. Go to the File menu and select Utilities.
  2. Select Verify Data, then select OK to close all windows.
  3. Go back to the File menu, select Utilities, then Rebuild Data.
  4. Tap OK to close all windows. Once the rebuild's finished, select OK.

I've added some articles you can browse. These will explain further how to bring in the bank transactions to QuickBooks Desktop:
