Why am I not seeing the tax checklist button on quickbooks self-employed. First I was told it wasn't available yet, then I seen an alert indicating it is available as of mid-january, I've had agents advise me that it should be working and to create new log-ins,purchase new subscriptions, purchase new software. I've wasted $300 and still haven't filed my taxes yet. What is going on!?

Hello there. We appreciate you for dropping your concern here in the Community. Here's some information about the Tax Checklist in QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE).

Note that the Tax Checklist button is not yet available in QBSE. It's important to note that QuickBooks depends on the IRS and is currently waiting for them for any necessary updates to their systems. As per this website, January 29 is the start of filing taxes. Rest assured, we'll notify you once the Tax Checklist is available.

Moreover, I recommend checking out this article as a reference in estimating income tax inside QBSE: Automatically estimate your income tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed
