What is the best way to import credit card transactions manually? I don’t have much activity in the credit cards, which is why I don’t have them linked to the bank feed.

I'd gladly assist you in manually importing your credit card transactions, @Salessio0564.

To start, let's create a credit card account to easily track and import your transactions whenever needed.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Charts of Accounts.
  2. Click New and enter the Account Name.
  3. Choose the Account type, then tick the ▼ dropdown arrow under the Detail type.
  4. If it is a sub-account, check the Make this a subaccount box and pick a Parent Account.
  5. Add a description to add more information. (This is Optional.)
  6. Then, hit Save.

Once done, we can now proceed with importing the transactions manually.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Tools, select Import Data.
  3. In the select record type, choose the file you want to upload (Export your bank statement in a .CSV, .QFX, .QBO, .OFX, or .TXT format.).
  4. Hit Import.
  5. From there, drag or select the file of the transactions you wish to upload.
  6. Tick Continue
  7. In the select account bar, select the account we created.
  8. Supply the necessary information needed on the mapping page.
  9. Lastly, select all the transactions to be imported, then click Continue.
