Importing journal entries into Quickbooks Desktop

I'm importing an iif deposit file from our data management system (have been doing so for years successfully in QB Desktop 2016-recently upgraded to QB Desktop 2021). I'm getting error message, follow the prompts to review errors, but file will not open with Quickbooks launcher. It reacts as if I'm trying to open an iif file outside of Quickbooks.

Hello there, kwestphal.

We may need to update the QuickBooks Database Server Manager. That's why you're experiencing errors and issues when importing entries into QuickBooks Desktop.

To do this successfully, you'd need to back up the company file and scan for errors. I'd recommend following the complete steps in this article so you'll get this thing right away: Install QuickBooks Database Server Manager

Also, you have more options to resolve performance issues in QuickBooks Desktop. Check this article for more details: Recommendations to resolve performance issues

For other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help anytime. Take care always.
