Importing new bank account

It's good to hear you've successfully added the new bank account, awseib. Let's download your transactions to QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Please know that the first time you connect your account in QuickBooks, the system downloads up to the last 90 days of transactions. To download older transactions, you'll have to upload them manually into your account.

To start, we can sign in to your bank's website and follow their instructions to download your older transactions in CSV or QBO format. Once done, follow these detailed steps to ensure a smooth importing process:

1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank Transactions.
2. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Link account button.
3. Select the Upload from file.
4. From the Import bank transactions page, select Drag and drop or select files, and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions. Then, select Continue.
6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
7. Choose the transactions you like to import. Then select Continue.
8. Click Yes, then select Done.
