Question

In a bank deposit template, why does the "received from" column entry disappear when I go to the next line?

I can share some information about the bank deposit template, @stick7571.

The information showing under the Select the payments included in this deposit part are payments from invoices and sales receipts when you use the Undeposited Funds as the Deposit to account.

It's possible that piled-up cache in your regular browser caused this unusual behavior when you go to the next line while you're on the bank deposit page.

I recommend using a private browser or an incognito window when trying to process it. Then, you may clear the cache in the one that you're currently using if it works. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge:  CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Restart your browser right after. You can also proceed by using other browsers if the steps above don’t work.
