Hi @thedancebag14,

Thank you for posting here in the Community. I can help you reconcile the bank account in QuickBooks Online.

Duplicate entries or uncleared checks/payments usually occur if you match transactions incorrectly in Banking. It may be possible that downloaded data were not linked properly within the bank feed before adding them to the account register.

If you're using bank feeds, I recommend reviewing your transactions. You can undo and match again if necessary to correct them.

Here's how:

  1. On the left navigation bar, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the bank account.
  4. Switch to the Categorized tab.
  5. Find the transaction you want to unmatch.
  6. Select the blue transaction link in the Added or Matched column to see the matched transaction. This image shows the added or matched column in the Reviewed tab in the Banking menu.
  7. Select Undo from the Action column.

If you want to Clear transactions manually, go to the Bank Register section. You should have the ability to mark checks/payments as Cleared (see screenshot below).

Transactions that reflect in your Reconciliation will also show in the bank register. You can either use the Undo option in the Bank feed section or delete the transactions directly in the chart of accounts.

Here are the steps:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Chart of accounts.
  3. Choose the account, then press View register.
  4. Click the transaction.
  5. Hit Delete.
