Intuit has charged my bank account twice, but I never used the service.

Hi,

I was checking my bank account and saw that Intuit has charged me twice. I never used a quickbooks service, but some fee was charged on the same date (2/14) for $22.50 and $15.00. The transaction name is  "18004INTUIT DES:QuickBooks ID:.....". Does any one know what this transaction/fee is about? The only activity I did on my bank account was to deposit a check from my employer a week ago, but not sure if this charge is any relation to that payroll check that I deposited. Thanks for your help in advance.

Allow me to help point you in the right direction who can assist you in checking these charges, cobynow.

 

While the Community can provide answers and troubleshooting solutions to certain questions, there are things that only our phone support can do to resolve the problem.

 

To get this sorted out, I’d suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Support. They have the tools required to view a detailed version of the statement and check what are those charges for.

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online, you can follow the steps below to contact us. You can check out our support hours to ensure we address your concern on time:

 

1. Click the Help (?) icon.

2. Choose Contact Us.

3. Enter a  brief description of your situation in the What can we help you with? area, then click Let's talk.

4. You'll be presented with a few options for connecting with Intuit. Select Get a call.

I never used quickbooks but was charged with fee... How am I supposed to talk to the representative?

Thanks for chiming in on this thread. I can get you in the right direction to figure out these charges. 

 

You'll need to go through a particular link to contact our Customer Support Team since you don't have a QuickBooks account. Here's the link: Contact Us. Follow the steps below after getting there: 

 

  1. Choose a product. 
  2. Press the Search for something else option at the bottom. 
  3. Type in your question and give any additional details. Tap Search when ready. 
  4. Click the Start a message button and through there you can request a callback to speak with someone instead of chatting with them. 

 

It's that simple!
