Thank you for dropping by the Community space, @elegantlandscape. We appreciate you sending us your inquiry. Please know that we are aware of how this may disrupt your business activities in your QuickBooks Online account. I'd be glad to offer some assistance with your delayed deposit question. Helping out with deposits is my specialty.

For new users, we will process and deposit your initial set of payments within five business days. The deposit speeds will vary depending on the specific service you are using and the type of payment involved. To check the current deposit speed, here's how:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and click Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

You can also sign in to the Merchant Service Center to check the status of your payments. If you see a Withheld status, it says that the payment is on hold and is currently under review.

Moreover, you can consider contacting our Merchant Support Team. for guidance. They can investigate why the deposit is on hold and explain how to release your funds. Additionally, they can provide further information about the email concerning the account closure and its rationale.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click on Help (?) at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Select or type Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern, then choose Let's Talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Please ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available. This way, you can contact them at a time that is convenient for you.
