Is it okay to have 2 accounts attached and categorizing the transaction the same on both accounts?

Allow me to help you in categorizing your transactions.

 

You can connect multiple banks and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed. However, we're unable to add and categorize a single transaction to more than one account. This is to avoid duplicates and to maintain the accuracy of your data.

 

In addition, please note that each category has a corresponding line on your Schedule C. For your reference, here's how to categorize a transaction.
