Rest assured, I'm here to share some troubleshooting steps to perform and isolate the issue about creating a new check entry. Let me guide you how.

 

There are times that the browser is taken of frequently accessed pages, thus causing the system's buttons to stop running. You can start by logging into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser (incognito).

 

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

 

Once signed in, click the + New button to create a new Check entry. If it works, return to your default browser and clear its cache and cookies. This will refresh the system and remove the older data that cause viewing and performance issues. However, if the hurdle persists, I'd recommend running QBO and make a new check using other supported browsers.
