Is the final confirmation when changing bank accounts a verification from Quickbooks? or from the Bank?

When I linked the new bank account I got a verication code from the bank texted to the correct phone number. When the account showed successfully linked there was a final confirmation button and it is trying to text a code to the wrong phone number. My number is correct in the QBO settings. The bank insists this is a quickbooks error. What do I do?

Thanks for connecting your bank account to the system, @gmarks195. I'll make sure that your phone number is updated in Intuit.

 

To do this, you'll need to visit this link to change your phone number through the Intuit Account. Here are the steps to complete the process:

 

  1. Go to the User icon located at the upper right corner on your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select Manage your Intuit Account.
  3. From the INTUIT ACCOUNT, click Sign in & security.
  4. Go to the Phone section, then tap the Change link.
  5. Add the new Phone number and enter your Password, then hit Save.
