Is the QB credit card balance supposed to be $0 if the bank shows that there is a credit card balance? Charges show up in the register but not in the Bank Balance box.

The bank balance reflects the most recent bank feed update of your actual bank balance. The balance that appears in your register, however, is the sum of all bank transactions that you have added or matched to QuickBooks. 

Make sure to categorize and match your downloaded transactions based on your bank statement. You can do so by following the steps outlined in this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. 

From here, you can now match the balance of your real-life bank account with what you have in QuickBooks by comparing the transactions on your statement with what's in QuickBooks: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
