Is there a keyboard shortcut for "save" when editing a transaction? Right now, I have to leave the keyboard to click on "save", and I usually have to scroll down to it

It's a pain and frustrating that there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut, like 'shift enter' to save a transaction without having to use the mouse. I'm hoping there's a shortcut I haven't figured out yet?

Hi there, dfribush.

At the moment, the option to Save the transactions using keyboard shortcuts is unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I can definitely see how this keyboard shortcut would be useful to save the transaction. I recommend you let our product developers know what features you'd like to add. Sending your feedback will help us not only improve the product but also will help us know what works best for you.

Here's how to send your request:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then choose Next to submit feedback.

Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Help Articles for QuickBooks Self-Employed.

QuickBooks Community is available 24/7. Keep on posting here and we'll help you.

Thank you for reaching back out to the Community, dfribush. I'm not able to see that screenshot. Could you go ahead and resend it? I will be looking forward to that. In the meantime, I will go ahead and take note of this and submit feedback to our Developers! Take care!
