Question

Is there a way to not use the quickbooks cash account? Additionally have the money go straight into my business account?

I would rather use my chase account and just avoid quickbooks cash all together. When my customers or clients pay, the money goes into the QCA and then from there you have to transfer the money to my account. Once the customers/clients pay, can the payments go directly to my own account with chase.

Hello @thesandiegopoolc,

With instant deposit in QuickBooks Payments, your default receiving account for the online payments made by your customers is your QuickBooks Cash Account. With this, I'd recommend contacting our Merchant Services team. to check is if it's possible to change your account information.

Thus, here's how you can connect to our support from the other channels:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select Contact Us.
  3. Enter Default Receiving Account Information in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Choose a channel where you wanted to talk to our specialists.

In the same manner, here's an article you can read to learn more about when are you able to connect to our support: Contact QuickBooks Products and Services Support.

On top of that, you also consider reading through this article and learn more about your deposit schedule: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

You can always leave a comment below if you have follow-up questions with this or start a new thread if you have any other questions. I'll be here to lend a hand. Stay safe!
