Question

Is there a way to reset my Etsy account with QBSE? I have transactions up to 8/26/23 but it will not upload any others. I have tried inputting the CSV but get errors

I have had QBSE since 2017 and never had issues like this. Since yesterday evening I have tried to refresh accounts (all other work) as well as disconnecting my Etsy- which didn't work. I have also downloaded the Orders CSV from etsy and tried to upload it. This gives me an error message "darn it failed (probably our fault) try again etc." But no luck

Hello there. @tfarwell21

I understand how difficult it is not being able to import your bank transactions. No worries, I'm here to help you sort this out.

Let's start by pulling up your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox)
  • Control + Option + P (Safari)

If you have successfully imported the file, return to your default browser and clear its cache. After that, log out and then log back into your account. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performance issues.

However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

Once everything is set, you next step is to categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Don't hesitate to comment below if you have more questions about downloading transactions in QuickBooks. I'd be glad to help you. Stay safe!
