Is there an issue in syncing data from QuickBooks to Shopify? We're trying to sync QB and Shopify & vice versa but it isn't working.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, @johnlesterbanga. I want to make sure you can sync data from QuickBooks to Shopify.

 

I've checked our records and haven't seen any investigations similar to yours. That said, I'd suggest logging in to your QBO account using a private browser.

 

There are times when the browser store frequently accessed data, thus causing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to act weirdly. Press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

 If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

Whrn trying to connect Shopify in QB, It says “my account does not have a permission to grant the requested access for this app. You may be able to resolve this issue by installing the app as the account owner.”

 

Does this mean, I need to be the COMPANY ADMIN in our Shopify Account so that syncing will now be push through?
