Question

Is there an option to get a quickbooks checking account verification to show our business ownership of the account?

- need a verification to show the account belongs to our business
- if we can print our own check to void and use to prove account ownership (like for payroll direct deposit forms)

Hi there, 3ssentialmsllc21.

Before we proceed, could you please clarify if you are looking for a specific feature or option in QuickBooks for an account verification process that confirms the ownership of your business account, or are you referring to a general account verification process for QuickBooks Checking?

Can you also confirm if you are specifically looking for the option to print your checks through QuickBooks to void them and use them as proof of account ownership, similar to how payroll direct deposit forms are used?

I'd appreciate it if you could provide a few details about this in the comment section below. I'll make sure to check on your response. Have a great day!

I am looking for whichever is available to show that the quickbooks checking belongs to me; shows my name, the business name and account identifiers, any official document that will have that information.

I'll share details to help you get this document, @3ssentialmsllc21.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), there's no option to see the information that says you are the owner of the QuickBooks Checking account. With that said, you can either reach out to our QuickBooks Merchant support team or to the Green Dot bank to get an official document.

Additionally, please be aware that the application for QuickBooks Checking defaults to the details of the Primary Principal of the Payments account. However, the person (with Primary or Company admin access) who applied and approved is the only one who can move money to and from the account.
