Is there something I can change so that my logo shows in color when downloading or printing?

My logo shows in color when creating an estimate or invoice, but when I try to view or print, it is not in color. I have ensured that color settings are appropriate, and they are set accordingly.

I know a way where you can print your invoices according to your desired output, death2dirtcleani.

Before making changes to your logo, it's best to ensure it complies with QuickBooks Online specifications. Kindly review the following requirements for your logo:

  • The logo is a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file.
  • The file size is smaller than 10 MB.
  • It has a bit depth (or color depth) of 24 bits or less.
  • It uses the standard RGB color space (RGB).
  • The shape of the logo is square. Rectangles don't work.

When adjusting your logo, you can go within your Custom Form Style. Afterward, when you create your sales forms, choose the saved template.

Here's how:

Step 1: Modify your Forms according to your preference

  1. From the upper right side, click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom Form Style.
  3. Press the New Style dropdown or select an existing template.
  4. Click the Design tab, then go to the Make logo edits section.
  5. Add a logo by clicking the Plus Sign. You can adjust its size and placement.
  6. Enter the name of your template.
  7. After reviewing everything in your template, press Done.

Step 2: Create a transaction

  1. Go to the + New icon, then click the transaction you wish to make.
  2. Click the Manage option.
  3. Find the Design dropdown and choose the template you've created or modified.
  4. Click Save, then Print and Download to see if the logo already has a color.
  5. Once done, go to the upper right side and hit the Print icon.
  6. From the Destination dropdown, choose your printer.
  7. Set everything according to your preferences.
  8. Press Print.

I'll leave these resources for you to use as you upload, edit, or delete logos from your invoices, estimates, or sales receipts in QuickBooks Online: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Additionally, you can record invoice payments when a customer pays an invoice so it connects to the invoice to balance your accounts.
