Question

It seems like only half of my business credit card charges are importing to Quickbooks. How do I fix this?

Looks like there are gaps for a few weeks, so it's still linked, but I'm not sure what's causing the gaps?

Thanks for becoming part of the Community, coreyamorgan. I appreciate your detailed information.

QuickBooks relies on data provided from your financial institution. Missing transactions may occur due to things like delays or interruptions in the connection. Missing transactions also have a chance of occurring when your bank performs maintenance on their end. To verify if anything like this has recently occurred in the past few weeks, I'd initially recommend visiting their website and checking for any announcement about these types of topics, or contacting them if necessary.

You can also check for missing transactions by using your Refresh All button.

Here's how:

  1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Connect Bank/Bank accounts.
  2. Select Refresh All.

Additionally, you'll want to check to confirm if they've already been added to QuickBooks. You can do so by selecting All for your Type, Account, and Date filters. This ensures no transactions are being overlooked.

There's also things such as temporary internet files which can sometimes prevent things from displaying properly on certain webpages. You can try clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies to see if this may have anything to do with why you aren't seeing them in your books.

If you notice the same results after clearing cached data and Intuit-specific cookies, you'll also want to confirm you meet each of our system requirements, like using a proper connection speed and supported web browser.

In the event you're still unable to locate them, you can import them manually using the steps from our Add older transactions article.

I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
