Hi there, @felixrgarza-gmai.

Let me first welcome you to the QuickBooks family. I can help you in handling your bank transactions.

After downloading transactions from your financial institution, you can assign and categorize them in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking or Transactions.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  4. Choose the For review tab to start your review.
  5. Click the within the row of the transaction. The Description column gives you a clue about the type of transaction it is.
  6. Review the selection in the Category dropdown to see if it’s accurate. Choose a more specific category from the list.
  7. Enter the other necessary information.
  8. Once done, click Add

Additionally, for each transaction, you have the option to match, add, or view multiple matches. To learn more about handlingyour downloaded transactions, here's an article for your guidance: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It contains information pn how you can assign them into its correct accounts.

You can also use the bank rules feature to categorize your downloaded transactions automatically.

Lastly, to ensure your QuickBooks balance matches with your bank or credit card statement balance, here's an article about reconciling an account : Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Get back to me here if you have any other concerns in managing your transactions. I'm always here to help. Take care always.
