Given the prevalence of fraud these days, I'm grateful that you've raised this issue with us. It's important to spread awareness among the other users in this forum, @bj20168488.

Phishing, spam, spoofing, and hoaxing emails present significant challenges today. The most effective way to guard against these security threats is to be alert and take preventive measures.

Remember to be cautious of suspicious emails, as they can be attempts to deceive you into sharing your personal information. These deceptive emails can take on many different appearances and may seem quite authentic. If you are uncertain whether an email is genuinely from Intuit, here are some signs to watch out for.

  • We’ll never ask for your info in an email.
  • Our emails will always come from an email address that ends with @intuit.com. This includes @e.intuit.com.
  • Any link we send you in an email will always be for an intuit.com address.

To notify others about this deception, we need to get in touch with our security team through the Intuit Security site. When sharing information, it's important to include as many details as possible. This will enable our security team to thoroughly review the information and initiate an investigation.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us.
  2. Search for Report technical support scams.
  3. Hit Report tech support scams.
