I can help you locate your last year's transactions in QuickBooks Online, @cstone-fundament.

Before using your QuickBooks Online, make sure to log in to the correct company file. Because it's possible that logging in to a different company file can mess up the transactions that you currently working.

I just want to ask also, if what are the transactions that are lost or missing? In that way we can identify what's really the correct transactions. Otherwise there's a quick and easy way to locate transactions recorded in QuickBooks Online. We can use the Audit Log feature and run the report.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to the Gear Icon.
  3. Click on Audit Log under the Tools column.
  4. Then you can customize under User, Date Change and Events.
  5. In the Date Change, choose on Custom then set the date range.
  6. Once done, the system will automatically filter the changes.

If the transactions will not appear even after using the Audit Log feature, I recommend using a private window, which doesn't store temporary files. Sometimes, QuickBooks can have browser issues due to poor configuration. Browsers use cache and cookies to load web pages faster on subsequent visits, but this can occasionally result in unexpected behavior that impacts the views and performance of QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To open an incognito window, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

If it works, you can clear Intuit-specific cookies. This helps to refresh website preferences that may be causing problems when using QBO. Also, I suggest utilizing other supported browsers. This will help us identify if the issue is specific to your current browser.
