Linked all of my bank's credit card accts to QBO and created a mess. Will disable others and link only the bank's master acct to QBO. Can I re-use the QBO acct number?

You can assign any numbers to organize your credit card accounts. This helps you organize the sequence on your Chart of Accounts.

For other account types, QuickBooks follows generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You can refer to this link for additional information: Use account numbers in your Chart of Accounts. Then, go to Step 2: Assign account numbers to learn what range to use.
