Hello there, @aadyaliving-gmai.

I'd like to share a possible solution to get rid of the duplicate expenses within your QuickBooks Online account.

If you already have created transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), you'll have to match the transactions from the Banking page instead of adding them. If you've added them, this can cause duplicate expenses or any type of transactions.

To correct the procedure, you'll have to undo them first. You can follow the steps below to get this done:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. In the Banking tab, Categorized tab.
  3. Put a check mark on the transactions you want to undo.
  4. Click the Undo button under the Action column.

Once done, navigate to the For review tab and tick the duplicate transactions. In the black box at the top of all transactions, select Exclude.

On the other hand, if the duplicate transactions are showing in the 'For review' tab, you can automatically tick the boxes of the duplicate transactions under the For review tab.

If you're referring to the manually created transactions, you can use this article to learn more about deleting transactions: Void or delete the transaction.

If you're experiencing odd behaviors, you can clear the cache and use other supported browsers in QuickBooks:

Also, you can use this article while working with your bank reconciliation: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

Comment below if you still need further assistance with handling the duplicate expenses, aadyaliving-gmai. I'll be around. Take care always.
