Matching bank transaction

I'm trying to match downloaded bank transactions to payments.  I have a transaction for $1100.  When I open the transaction, I get a message "Partially matched: $1,000.00 remaining out of $1,100.00".  How do I find that the partial match is?

Hello @NS371,

 

The message you receive while reviewing your downloaded transaction is an error needed to be fixed, no need to find the partial match.

 

That said, let's find the partially matched downloaded transaction under the Categorized column on the Banking page. Once you've already determined the transaction, you'll have to click Undo below the ACTION column to fix this. 

 

From here, you can go ahead and match your downloaded transaction to the existing payment accordingly. You can read this article to learn more: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
