Hello,

Although the amount in the "App Transaction" section and the amount in the "Bank Transaction" section match, the "Deposit" amount is different from the "Transaction" amount, and I could not figure out the reason. For example;

App and Bank Transaction amount: $2,231.21
Deposit amount: $2,204.71
Difference: $26.5

The sample image is attached.

I request your information.

Thank you for dropping by the Community, @Ugur01.

I understand the importance of knowing the information with regard to the difference in matched transactions. However, know that QuickBooks relies on the data shared by Square. With this, I recommend reaching out to the Square support team to check why the Deposit amount differs from the Transaction amount. You can reach out to them either through live chat or by phone.

What about "Sales tax" and "Tips," Which are under the "Included in total collected"? Do we have to categorize them separately? If yes, How will I do it?

An example is attached.

Hello there, Ugur01.

Please be aware that if you've enabled the sales tax option in your Square app, it'll automatically match your transactions. With that said, if it's enabled, you won't have the option to categorize it in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

Also, I'd recommend reaching out to Square's Customer Care Team. They have the tool to help you get this sorted out, and they can assign a representative from their end to conduct further investigation to determine the root cause of the issue. They may also provide information about the difference of 26.50 and the next step you can perform.
