maximum number of characters allowed for check number field

I am unable to enter the full check number on deposits. Check numbers from companies are too long to fit in the space provided. Is there some way to increase the number of allowed characters for check number?

Hi there, psuresh65.

 

At this moment, you're unable to increase the size of the Check No. field. You can enter the details in the Memo field.

 

The Memo field can contain 4095 characters. However, only 30-60 characters will display on printed checks depending on print settings.
