I appreciate you for adding more details to your post, Kyle.

Let me assist you with this and provide you with further help.

Once you have set up your bank account in QuickBooks Online Payroll, a test transaction of less than $1.00 will be posted to your bank account within 2-3 banking days to process your direct deposits or tax payments.

To verify the test transaction, log in to your QuickBooks Payroll account as a Primary or Master admin. Ensure that you enter the test transaction amount accurately without the decimal point.

Here's how:

  1. Look for Payroll, then Overview.
  2. Choose Let's Go on Check your bank account item from your To-Do List.
  3. Select Verify Amount.
  4. Enter and confirm the transaction amount (no decimal point).
  5. Select Verify.

In case you cannot find the New payroll tasks option, here's another way to verify the test transaction:

  1. On the upper right corner, look for the Gear icon.
  2. Then, select Payroll settings.
  3. In Bank accounts, click Edit.
  4. Select Verify Amount, then enter and confirm the amount.

Additionally, I've added an article you can browse in case you need assistance updating your employee's bank account for direct deposit: Change your employee's direct deposit info.
