A new bank account called "global clearing" was created during migration. Does anyone know anything about it? Is there a purpose to it? Can I delete transactions and make account inactive?

Hello there, portia.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm here to ensure that I can effectively address any concerns regarding the new bank account added to your company file.

Before we move forward, I'd like to ask for more details about the specific issue you're facing. Your input will greatly assist me in assisting you better.

May I know if you've checked the transactions connected to your bank account? Have you compared your QuickBooks Online (QBO) chart of accounts to the desktop program? It would be extremely helpful if you could forward a screenshot of the account, as this will give us a more comprehensive view of the issue.

I look forward to your reply and working with you again, portia. Have a great rest of the day.

I wouldn't delete the transactions.  Is there a balance in the account?  Clearing accounts are widely used as a temporary holding account and are crucial to a number of transactions.
