Hello andy134, welcome to QuickBooks Community!

Can you share more details about about it? Did you receive an error message while trying to import mileage? If so, please let me know below.

As initial steps, let's ensure the CSV file has the correct format. Improper format will cause the file to not successfully import.

  • The date format is properly entered.
  • Remove unwanted symbols in the file.
  • If there are any details entered in the Notes column, we can remove them.

Also, we'll have to take note of the following:

  • Add at least one vehicle before importing.
  • Only Business Trips will be imported.
  • If a trip doesn’t specify a certain vehicle, it will automatically be linked to the one you most recently updated in QuickBooks.
  • Duplicate trips will be ignored.

To import, we can follow these steps:

  1. Log into your MileIQ account here.
  2. Create a report of the mileage data you want, and email a copy to yourself.
  3. Find the archived report in MileIQ, and click "CSV" to download a spreadsheet of the report.
  4. Locate the downloaded CSV file on your computer and upload it by clicking Browse.
