I know it can be difficult when you can't see your deposits on your bank report, gremoo. I'm here to help you get this resolved.
It seems like the payments are deposited incorrectly in QuickBooks. This is the reason why you're unable to see them on your bank report.
To resolve this, I'd suggest deleting the transactions in your Undeposited Funds account. Then, let's deposit them to the correct one.
Here's how to delete the transactions:
- Go to the Banking menu and then select Use Register.
- From the Select Account drop-down menu, choose the Undeposited Funds account.
- Click Ok.
- Locate the deposit transaction.
- Right-click on the deposit.
- Select Delete Deposit, then click Ok to confirm.
Once done, you can record the deposits. I'll show you how:
- From the Banking menu, select Make Deposits.
- In the Payments to Deposit window, select the payments.
- Select OK.
- From the Deposit to drop-down menu, select the account you want to put the deposit into.
- Check the deposit total. Make sure the account and selected payments match the deposit slip from your bank.
- Enter the correct date you deposited at your bank.
- When you're done, select Save & Close.
