Allow me to assist you with any concerns you may have in the QuickBooks Community, @crittersone.

Can you please check in QuickBooks to see if these missing transactions have been erased before we begin? If that's the case, there's a way to get them back if they're not available in the software.

You can use the Audit log to get the information you want to pull up. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Navigate to Setting and click Audit Log.
  2. Input the correct date from the Filter dropdown menu.
  3. Select Apply then locate the deleted details.
  4. Go to the History column and View
  5. See all the information you need under the Event column.
  6. You can re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date using the information from the Audit log.

You’re unable to see it, this behavior could be caused by a problem with your current browser. Let’s browser troubleshooting instead, here’s how:

  1. Restart your browser.
  2. Clear cache and cookies on your browser history.
  3. Use a private browser like Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or FireFox. Refer to these shortcut keys to open a private browser:
  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Additionally, you may also use this article as a reference to locate missing transactions in QuickBooks: Use the audit log to re-enter deleted transactions.
