My bank account is attached but is missing 6 months worth of transactions. Is this normal? What is the fix for this?

We appreciate you reaching out here in the Community space, @littleminis714. We'll share details to help you get through this and retrieve your bank transactions inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Before anything else, you may want to check the filters on the Banking page. It could be why you don't see the 6-months' worth of bank transactions. Know that the filters affect the data you want to see or review inside the program. You can also visit this page to learn more about what to do if you have missing transactions inside the program: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists, we can perform some basic browser troubleshooting methods to rule out the possibility of having a problem with your browser. We recommend accessing the company file using an incognito or private browser. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P

Once you're in, try see if your bank transactions shows. If it works and you're able to get through, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache. Refer to this article for the steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
