My charges are not transferring to reconcile?

Let me walk you through the process to successfully reconcile your credit card charges. 

 

When you link your online bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks, your transactions are automatically downloaded and categorized.

 

However, since you you were unable to see the charges in the reconciliation it could be possible that: 

 

  • The transactions haven't been cleared by the bank yet.
  • The transaction date doesn't match the reconciliation period.
  • Transactions are not yet categorized. You can't reconcile them until you do.

 

With this, You can review your downloaded transactions to check for the transactions that need to be categorized. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the bank account you want to review.
  3. Select the For Review tab to check your transactions.
