My customer paid me hours ago through quickbooks with is connected to my business account. How long will the payments take to reach my bank account?

Hello there. Let me explain how long it will take for your customer's payments to reach your bank account. 

 

If you have received a payment for the first time, please note that it will take five business days to reflect on your account. It's because QuickBooks is still processing your profile. Once the processing is complete, your future payments will be deposited quicker, typically within two business days.

 

Also, the waiting period varies depending on these factors:

  • Time of day you enter transactions
  • Weekends and federal holidays
  • The financial institution where the transactions are going
  • How long does it take for your bank to verify and process electronic deposits

 

You can also check the status of your payment transactions by following the steps I've provided below.

 

For QuickBooks Online:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Go to Get Paid & pay and select Deposits.
  3. Click the bank deposit you want to review.

 

For Merchant Service Center:

  1. Log in to your Merchant Service Center portal.
  2. Choose Deposits in the Activity and Reports section.
  3. Enter the appropriate date range and select Search.
  4. A new window will show the results.
  5. Click the triangle to the left of the line item to view the details.
