I sell on Etsy and used quickbooks self employed all last year and it uploaded all my sales and fees from Etsy.com just fine. However, since 1/1/2022, nothing is showing up. It appears to no longer be syncing with my etsy account. I tried adding it again in the "accounts", "find bank" section, and it did not load any data. On my etsy page, it says it is connected to the quickbooks program. Help?

I'll help you fix this, junedvm-gmail-co.

When you noticed that QBSE is no longer downloading your latest available transactions, you can perform a manual update to refresh your current connection. I'll guide you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank Account.
  3. Click the Refresh All button.

If you're still unable to get your transactions, you can try accessing your account in an incognito or private window. It could be that the stored cache and cookies in the browser is preventing the program from downloading your transactions. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

If it's now working well, go back to their regular browser and then, clear its cache to delete the accumulated junk files and start over fresh. You may  also switch to other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.

Lastly, I recommend reading this article to help review your downloaded business transactions: Categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
